Why It Matters - Naming the Bloom

Belief in yourself isn't something that's easily maintained as an artist or creative in the modern day where part of your existence is dependent on how many eyes are on you at any given moment. Creatives are in a seemingly endless competition with one another, taking their belief in their artwork and fostering doubt that stops too many creatives before they even try. The key to overcome this is to cultivate a sense of belief in your artwork internally and try to have that internal belief transform the external world you see around you. Through personal experience, I realized that your sense of self starts by the way you talk about yourself, your art, and your artistic journey.

What you believe about yourself will always form the basis for how you see yourself. Your brain will form this idea of the person that you are then act in a way that preserves this image of yourself. These actions then form your habits, which form the basis for your entire life. This piece was created from that place of speaking positively of yourself and blooming into the version of yourself that you'd like to become.
