Prelude

The "creative"
I've been a creative long before I could draw. Prior to learning to draw I would craft. After getting a drawing tablet to create animations I realized I wanted my frames to look presentable. So, in 2019 I began my journey to improve my technical artistic abilities so I could be an animator. I never really considered myself an "artist" in the traditional sense but the loose title of "creative" always stuck with me.
Get to Know Us
With experiences in a wide variety of mediums, I developed a familiarity with medium-specific techniques, practices and styles, sharpening my eye for technical aspects of painting. Through my education and courses at Georgia State University I was given the opportunity to experiment with several new mediums and expand my practices, both digital and traditional.
My Story

My Story

Get to Know Us
My work explores the idea of growth and flourishing often in the form of flowers and jewelry. I very intentionally emphasize the aspects of jewelry and its relationship with black culture as where I get my color palettes and aesthetics from. Overall my work blends my unique understanding of the elements of art due to my personal history with the subjects to convey a personal visual language.
