As We Gather
The Story
As we gather captures the warm and mysterious yet familiar atmosphere to this Speakeasy. The warm and overexposed flow of the objects contract the mysteries just out of view and the hardy laughter that must fill the space.

This piece evokes memories of playing card games with my cousins at every family gathering. The warmth and the glow add a dreamlike sense to the space. For me, this piece is about family and the warmth that people can add into any gathering. This piece uses my motifs of jewelry, hands, and mysteriously obscured figures to create a lively scene that I cant wait to decorate my space with!
Legacy In Blue
The Story
One of the most challenging paintings I’ve ever created also turned out to be one of the most rewarding, and I’m deeply thankful for the experience.

This piece was a surprise commission for my father, honoring his career in the Air Force. My goal was to capture the way I see him and to celebrate his legacy as an Airman.
The greatest challenge—and what made the work so meaningful—was exploring the many shades of blue. I discovered hues I’d never used before, experimenting with subtle variations in value to bring depth to the piece. To keep the composition dynamic, I introduced hints of purple and carefully placed focal points. Through rhythm and repetition, the figures create a sense of vastness, giving the painting both structure and movement.
Gold Roses 2
The Story
This piece evokes a musical sense of rhythm while being tranquil and balanced.
This piece was made following The Soul Sword Series, a very conceptual and experimental series of paintings that I felt didn't fully realize my technical abilities. This painting was made as a response to that preceding series, choosing to focus on the technical aspects and values over the concept of the painting. It unexpectedly became a great benchmark for me to view how much my skills as an artist have developed.
Gold Roses 2 is an acryilic painting sequel to the original Gold Roses, which was an oil pastel piece. Gold Roses is a common motif in my work that I feel goes well with an earth tones/brown background. I find subjects with this old school jazz kind of style to match well with these colors and this motif. You can almost hear music through the piece. This series is own of my personal favorites and it will only continue to grow over time just like a Gold Rose.
Liberty And The Masses
The Story
Liberty And The Masses is my first oil painting. This was a turning point for me where I truly took what I was doing seriously.
This painting combines motifs from my previous works into a piece that creates a strong sense of presence and boldness. The emotion that reads through the hands contrasts the cold stillness for the figure in the middle. They emote and plead as the figure remains indifferent to the display. I wanted to focus on the various ways to highten the contrast between the two in this piece with the colors, expressiveness, and jewelry.
