Hierarchies of Self

The 'Hierarchies of Self' explores the profound connection between mindset and identity with captivating typography, repetition, and visual elements reminiscent of graphic design posters

This unique artwork combines an oil painting aesthetic with graphic design elements, creating a striking visual dialogue around personal growth.

The scene features four identical figures standing side by side, rendered in soothing light earth tones, inviting contemplation on the paths of self-discovery and the voices that shape our individuality.

The Story
The second piece of the three from my Capstone Collection, this piece aims to combine digital elements from graphic poster design such as typography, image repetition, and clean borders with the tactile elements of paint.

While the technical elements were chosen first to challenge myself as an artist, thematically this piece is meant to represent the adoption of mindset and how it forms the person you are.

This piece is my personal favorite of the three and creates a visual lane that I enjoy working in the most. The piece speaks to my growth both as an artist and a young adult.
